Many Christian Churches give what is called “Communion”. The most important words are “Do this in remembrance of Me.”

1 Corinthians 11:23-26 “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes”.

How often do we truly remember God? How often do we remember the “Great Things” He has done for us when most of the time we focus on what we have not been given? Some people may say “Well God did not answer my prayer.” I have to tell you that when you pray God answers IMMEDIATELY, all the time. The answers are three. Yes, No and not right now. All the answers to your prayers are given for God’s perfect purpose in your life which you cannot see. God is not bound by time so His ways and wisdom are billions of times more higher than our ways. That is why when we pray we need to have “Faith”. Yes God hears and God acts immediately. The more we try to rush the process the more we distrust God. Resting in His promises for you builds an unshakable faith.

I am not sure if our new template came across to you today in a right format but if there is anything that you would like to see changed please let me know. We want to be able to have this site as a way for “Believers: to grow and for non-believers to be saved by the Lord. I am also going to be adding a 1 inch and 1.5 inch leather strip on our Paracord Bracelets that say Psalm 46:10. This is in remembrance to learn to “Be Still”. I have had some great retreats with people but my concern is much like the Lord’s supper. We can take the cup and eat the bread and have a very moving experience. But if we are not careful our mind can immediately go back to the problems of the day.

The Bracelet needs to be a constant reminder to Be Still more mentally than physically. You need to shut down in order to allow God in. You need to make room. Our minds are so filled with anxiety, guilt, remorse, deadlines, budgets, relationships, sickness and on and on that to Be Still in the moment could take care of all your worries. The main reason deep inside that we aren’t still in our mind is that we believe God can’t handle our problems. I know that hurts but it is true. We would rather trust our own actions (Which we can see) than those of faith which at times is well just that Faith.

John 20:24-29 “Now Thomas (also known as Didymusa ), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe. “Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Thomas probably never believed or had an unshakable faith because once you desire a miracle to believe then your faith is based upon seeing instead upon who God is. What about you today? Do you believe that God can handle all of yoru problems? If so then Be Still and let God sort it out before you make a bigger mess of things. If you don’t believe great. That is being honest but you still need to Be Still. You need to Be Still to build that foundation that only God can build in you. That foundation that when the winds blow and chaos seems inevitable that you can fully trust that God has you and God has it.

Whatever you set your mind to “Do it in remembrance of Jesus”. When you do this you will never fail, falter or become weak. Stop trying to be great in your own mind and allow the One who saved you to be great in your life. He will never fail you.

Be Still, please discipline yourselves to Be Still and only think about God.
